The need of measuring low concentrations of hemoglobin in different media is important for several critical & emergency treatments and the use of traditional instruments made the process time-consuming and complicated.

HemoCue Plasma/Low Hb Photometer is a quick and simple system to accurately measures low hemoglobin concentrations in the range of 0-3.00 g/dL (0-30.0 g/L, 0-1.90 mmol/L).

The HemoCue Hemoglobin system is best for quick, simple and reliable Hemoglobin related test. The result is more reliable with the same performance as compared a large hematology analyzer. Dual wavelength photometers are suitable for leucocytosis, lipemia and other sources of turbidity. The system has an unbreakable and disposable cuvette, which collects the accurate amount of blood and automatically mixes the sample with the reagents. The cuvette is placed in the analyzer (portable) and the results appear on the display screen within a minute.
